Intensive Care Unit

Hillcrest Hospital South is proud to share that it has earned Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR) from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC). The QRCR designation ensures quality respiratory care in a hospital and helps patients and families make informed decisions about the quality of the respiratory care services available at the facility of their choice.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Unstable, critically ill and/or injured patients are cared for in our ICU. Our ICU medical staff and physicians have extensive, specialized training and clinical experience. The medical technology in our ICU is designed to provide the highest quality care. Our ICU medical staff is happy to answer questions about our equipment and patient safeguards.

Visitation

Please have visitors check in at the nurses' station prior to entering your room. You may have only two visitors at a time. Visitors must be age 12 and older. Keep in mind that rest is vital to your recovery and we encourage you to set your own limits with regard to visitation. We suggest family members and visitors maintain their own rest patterns by returning home each night to sleep.

Waiting Room

The ICU family waiting room is open at all times for family members and friends. To reach family or friends in the ICU waiting room, please call 918-294-4399.
